The Beecher Bobcats the host Sandburg Eagles softball squad by a count of 9-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats meet the St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 24-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 12-1 league loss to Donovan (Donovan, IL).
The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings enter the SouthWest Suburban challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Homewood-Flossmoor was routed by Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 12-2, in a league challenge.
