With the triumph, Columbia upgrades its record to 17-2 on the year. The Eagles host Salem (Salem, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Cahokia - Mississippi game on Tuesday, May 6. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 16-2. Salem won 10-0 in their recent league game against Roxana (Roxana, IL)

The Orphans now own a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a South Seven game on Tuesday, May 6. Centralia will play a Rams squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Rams record now stands at 9-5.
