In Saturday's non-league test, the Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy (Freeman, SD) softball squad the visiting Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), by a tally of 4-2.
Next, the clash with the Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 2-8 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD).
The Cubs (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Parker (Parker, SD). The Pheasants go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Parker held off Centerville (Centerville, SD), 20-2, in a non-league test.
