Indiana High School Softball - Elkhart sneaks past Logansport

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Elkhart Lions softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Logansport Berries.

The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Valparaiso was nipped by Portage (Portage, IN), 10-9, in a league match.

In their next game, the Berries confront the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Logansport will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 6-7 record after their 10-9 league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN).
