The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Horseheads Blue Raiders (Horseheads, NY) and the host Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY), observed Horseheads's softball team overcome Fredonia by a margin of 16-3.

The Blue Raiders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mepham for a non-league outing on Sunday, May 4.

With the loss, Fredonia moves to 4-2 on the season. The Hillbillies travel to Ardsley (Ardsley, NY) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 3. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 8-2. Ardsley won 8-2 in their recent league outing against Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY)
