The Gayville-Volin Raiders softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans to 3 in the Raiders league win on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avon for a Class B battle on Saturday, May 3.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton moves to 7-3 on the season. The Titans host Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD) to confront the Cavaliers in a Class B battle on Thursday, May 8. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a record of 6-3. Bon Homme won 5-1 in their recent league battle against Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD)
