The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) and the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), observed Glenbard East's softball team prevail over Rolling Meadows by a tally of 17-0.

The Rams (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders come into the Upstate Eight battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Glenbard South was routed by Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL), 17-9, in a non-league battle.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows moves to 7-14 on the season. The Mustangs host Palatine (Palatine, IL) to encounter the Pirates in a Mid-Suburban West battle on Monday, May 5. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 10-10. Palatine lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL)
