Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY), 6-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Henderson County upgrades its record to 26-2 on the year. The Colonels travel to Union County (Morganfield, KY) to play the Braves in a District 6 game on Monday, May 5. The Braves enter the game with a record of 15-12. Union County won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY)

The Marshals now own a 28-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tecumseh for a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. Marshall County will play a Braves squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). The Braves record now stands at 11-2.
