West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Holland Christian Maroons (Holland, MI), 16-11 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, West Ottawa improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI) to play the Buccaneers in a Ottawa-Kent - Red game on Tuesday, May 6. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 6-4. Grand Haven lost 2-1 in their recent league game against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI)

The Maroons now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fremont for a non-league game on Monday, May 5.
