The Santiago Sharks softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting La Sierra Eagles to 0 in the Sharks non-league win on Saturday.

The Sharks now sport a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norco for a Big VIII battle on Tuesday, May 6. Santiago will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 24-3.

With the loss, La Sierra moves to 9-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to Rubidoux (Jurupa Valley, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a River Valley battle on Monday, May 5. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 8-14. Rubidoux lost 23-0 in their recent league battle against Ramona (Riverside, CA)
