The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) and the host Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL), observed Lincoln-Way East's softball team prevail over Libertyville by a tally of 15-0.

The Griffins (19-2) will now prepare for their bout against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers go into the SouthWest Suburban bout with a 3-14 record. In their last bout, Stagg was routed by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 9-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban bout, on Monday, May 5. Libertyville will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL).
