Illinois High School Softball - Quincy Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL), 10-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia improves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Seymour (Payson, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Indians enter the game with a record of 9-8. Seymour won 10-4 in their recent league game against Barry Western (Barry, IL)

The Blue Devils now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Moline for a Western Big 6 game on Monday, May 5. Quincy will play a Maroons squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 7-14.
