The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Seymour Indians (Payson, IL) and the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), observed Seymour's softball team prevail over West Prairie by a tally of 19-4.

The Indians (10-9) will now prepare for their bout against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 15-5 record. In their last bout, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia knocked off Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL), 4-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, May 6. West Prairie will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-21 record after their 16-2 league loss to Illini West (Carthage, IL).
