The South Lyon Lions overwhelmed the visiting Standish-Sterling Panthers softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. South Lyon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Northview (Grand Rapids, MI).
The Panthers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Flying G's go into the Jack Pine challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Gladwin toppled Merrill (Merrill, MI), 13-11, in a non-league challenge.
