The Traverse City Central Trojans got by the host Swan Valley Vikings softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league game.
With the triumph, Traverse City Central improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Trojans host Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a Big North game on Tuesday, May 6. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 8-1. Gaylord won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI)
The Vikings now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a Tri-Valley - East game on Wednesday, May 7. Swan Valley will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Alma (Alma, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-5.
