The Valders Vikings softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes to 1 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheboygan Falls for a Eastern Wisconsin battle on Monday, May 5. Valders will confront a Falcons team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Whitefish Bay moves to 4-10 on the season. The Blue dukes travel to Port Washington (Port Washington, WI) to confront the Pirates in a North Shore battle on Monday, May 5. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 7-8. Port Washington lost 9-8 in their recent league battle against Slinger (Slinger, WI)
