Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT), 9-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Maloney upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 31. The Rams come into the test with a record of 10-11. New Canaan won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT)

With the defeat, Norwich Free Academy falls to 9-12 on the season.
