The Avon Falcons lacrosse squad (Avon, CT), was overwhelmed 19-9 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT)
Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) in a non-league outing, on Friday, June 2. Pomperaug will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 7-6 record after their 11-6 non-league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).
With the defeat, Avon drops to 5-8 on the season.
