The Chippewa Valley Big Reds softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs to 1 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Chippewa Valley improves its record to 8-15 on the year. The Big Reds travel to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI) to clash with the Tars in a Macomb Area - Red game on Wednesday, May 31. The Tars come into the game with a record of 9-5. Anchor Bay won 7-1 in their recent league game against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI)
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, June 1. Lutheran North will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record.
