The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) softball routed the visiting CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering] Eagles (Enfield, CT), 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against University (Hartford, CT). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, University toppled Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT), 19-15, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 0-1 record.
