Indiana High School Softball - Hanover Central nudges Western

May 30, 2023: Cedar Lake, IN 46303

Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Prairie for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. Hanover Central will face a Cougars squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 28-5.

With the loss, Western falls to 29-2 on the campaign.
