New London Bulldogs (New London, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Medford Raiders (Medford, WI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rice Lake for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 1. New London will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-8 non-league win over St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 10-12.
With the loss, Medford falls to 23-3 on the campaign.
