New Jersey High School Softball - Mainland Regional nudges Cherry Hill West

Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cherry Hill West Lions (Cherry Hill, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moorestown for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Mainland Regional will face a Quakers squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Delsea (Franklinville, NJ). The Quakers record now stands at 22-4.
With the loss, Cherry Hill West falls to 11-15 on the campaign.
