Randolph Rams (Randolph, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Randolph will battle a Lions squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 19-9.

With the loss, South Plainfield falls to 20-5 on the campaign.
