Spectators at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) and the visiting Bristol Warriors (Bristol, PA), witnessed Notre Dame-Green Pond's baseball team knock off Bristol by a count of 8-1.
The Crusaders now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philadelphia Academy Charter for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 2. Notre Dame-Green Pond will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, Bristol drops to 14-6 on the year.
