The Monarchs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenwood for a Hawkeye 10 challenge on Monday, June 2. Denison-Schleswig will clash with a Rams team coming off a 16-3 non-league loss to Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute drops to 2-1 on the year. The host Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to clash with the Eagles in a Western Valley challenge on Tuesday, June 3. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Lawton-Bronson lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA)
