In Friday's non-league game, the host Lunenburg Blue Knights baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Gardner Wildcats.
The Blue Knights (12-9) will now prepare for their game against St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 21-2 record. In their last game, St. John Paul II nudged Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
