The Morristown-Beard Crimson baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Hawthorne Christian Defenders to 0 in the Crimson non-league win on Friday.
The Crimson now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope John XXIII for a non-league test on Wednesday, June 4. Morristown-Beard will play a team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The record now stands at 10-11.
With the defeat, Hawthorne Christian drops to 9-11 on the year.
