The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) and the host Hudson Hawks (Hudson, MA), saw Newburyport's baseball team gain a win over Hudson by a tally of 7-2.

The Clippers (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 20-1 record. In their last battle, Shawsheen Valley Tech was overwhelmed by Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

This game is a part of the 2025 MIAA Baseball State Championship Tournament - Division 3
