In Friday's non-league match, the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME), by a count of 10-3.
Next up, the Black Bears confront the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a Class C match, on Tuesday, June 3. Maranacook will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 11-1 league win over Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils enter the Class A match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Lewiston got by Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 7-6, in a non-league match.
