Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA), 7-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Archbishop Williams improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bishops travel to Norton (Norton, MA) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, June 3. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 20-2. Norton won 6-0 in their recent non-league outing against Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA)

With the loss, Taconic moves to 11-10 on the season.
