In Friday's league test, the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME), by a count of 10-0.
Next, the Bucks meet the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a Class D South test, on Saturday, May 31. Buckfield will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 13-12 league loss to Richmond (Richmond, ME).
The Saints (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Sacopee Valley toppled Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME), 15-1, in a non-league test.
