The South Winneshiek Warriors softball squad (Calmar, IA), was routed 9-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA)

With the triumph, Crestwood improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cadets travel to Waukon (Waukon, IA) to face the Indians in a Northeast Iowa contest on Tuesday, June 3. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 1-2.

The Warriors now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Osage for a non-league contest on Monday, June 2. South Winneshiek will face a Green Devils squad coming off a 6-0 league win over St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 3-0.
