The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) and the visiting Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), observed Indianola's softball team get by Southeast Polk by a tally of 14-13.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Bombers go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Ballard was nipped by Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 17-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) in a CIML bout, on Monday, June 2. Southeast Polk will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Valley (West Des Moines, IA).
