Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT), 17-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Coventry upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Patriots host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 1. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 11-10. Old Lyme won 16-2 in their recent non-league test against Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT)
With the defeat, Academy of Science and Innovation falls to 0-4 on the season.
