The Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI) baseball trounced the visiting Dominican Knights (Whitefish Bay, WI), 17-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Lake Country Lutheran pounded out 12 hits in this Regional Semi-Final win and got outstanding pitching from senior Tim Frerking in a complete game, two hit, shutout. Tim struck out 7 batters over 5 innings and only walked 1 batter. The offense was lead by seniors Gunnar Grosenick (3 for 3, 2 RBIs, 3 SBs), Ben Lubbers (2 for 2, double, 1 RBI) and Brett Powers (2 for 3, triple, 2 RBIs). Junior Jack Poellot also had a double and senior Josh Pavlik had 2 RBIs. The Lightning will play tomorrow at 4:30 pm at home against Brookfield Academy for the Regional Championship.
