Connecticut High School Softball - Maloney bounces New Milford

May 31, 2022: New Milford, CT 06776

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) and the host New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), saw Maloney's softball squad nip New Milford by a count of 6-1.

The Spartans now sport a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conard for a non-league match on Wednesday, June 1. Maloney will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Chieftains record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, New Milford falls to 10-11 on the campaign.
