Housatonic Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) fans exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their softball squad prevail over the visiting Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT), 30-2 in a non-league match.

The Mountaineers now sport a 9-9 record.

With the loss, Parish Hill moves to 16-7 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2023 CIAC Softball State Championship (Connecticut) - Class S tournament
