In Friday's non-league game, the host Iowa Valley Tigers baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the North Mahaska Warhawks.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves go into the South Iowa Cedar game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Montezuma tipped Keota (Keota, IA), 15-8, in a league game.
The Warhawks (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Pella Christian was overwhelmed by Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA), 9-4, in a non-league game.
