North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT), 11-9 in a non-league battle.

The Thunderbirds now have a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lauralton Hall for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 4. North Branford will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 16-9 non-league win over Somers (Somers, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-4.
