Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 1. Assumption will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, IA).
The Bluejays now have a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Perry will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 26-1.
