The Van Meter Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting A-D-M Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Van Meter improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Webster City (Webster City, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a non-league game on Saturday, June 1. The Lynx come into the game with a record of 3-0. Webster City won 11-1 in their recent league game against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a Raccoon River game, on Monday, June 3. A-D-M will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Bluejays come into the game with a 9-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA).
