Scio Central/Friendship Golden Eagles (Scio, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ellicottville Eagles (Ellicottville, NY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deposit-Hancock for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. Scio Central/Friendship will face a squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Chapel Field Christian (Pine Bush, NY). The record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Ellicottville falls to 3-4 on the campaign.
