Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 25-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Illini Bluffs will face a Spartans squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 30-5.

With the loss, Trico falls to 26-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 24-14. Villa Grove lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL)
