In Saturday's non-league game, the host Don Bosco Dons baseball team scored a close 4-2 win over the Beckman Trailblazers.
The Dons (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Mediapolis got by Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA), 8-1, in a league contest.
