The Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH) baseball got by the host Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles (Dayton, OH), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Badin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 3. Monroe will clash with a Rams team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 26-6.
