In Saturday's non-league test, the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) softball squad got by the visiting Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Crusaders clash with the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA) in a Missouri River test, on Tuesday, June 3. Bishop Heelan Catholic will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 18-7 non-league win over Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA).
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans go into the Western Iowa test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Tri-Center was nudged by Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA), 5-4, in a non-league test.
