Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Frankton for a Central Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 6. Elwood will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Mississinewa falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to battle the Panthers in a Central Indiana challenge on Thursday, May 6. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Eastbrook lost 12-10 in their recent league challenge against Blackford (Hartford City, IN)
