The Castle Knights baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Red Devils go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Jeffersonville ran past Clarksville (Clarksville, IN), 17-0, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen go into the Pocket match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Tell City ran past Southridge (Huntingburg, IN), 10-7, in a league match.
