Illinois High School Baseball - Oakwood loses to Monticello

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Monticello Sages baseball team scored a nice 13-3 victory over the Oakwood Comets.
The Sages (16-7) will now prepare for their game against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles go into the Illini Prairie game with a 2-14 record. In their last game, Rantoul was overwhelmed by Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL), 21-6, in a league game.
The Comets (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Mahomet-Seymour overcame Centennial (Champaign, IL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
